As European Planner you lever the EU production capacity by planning of European resources and plants, prioritizing orders in an efficient matter while maintaining customer demands. You are responsible for:

  • Monitor planned vs. actual/outstanding orders.
  • Monitor daily order intake and plan print orders efficiently based on raw material stocks, capacity and CRD.

  • Communicate and coordinate with related departments to get optimum scheduling.

  • Maintain close contact with Customer Operations/Sales regarding outstanding planning and potential incidences.

  • Plan film extrusion according outstanding, intake and forecast based on capacity vs. CRD.

  • Plan and confirm dispatch and delivery dates to Customer Service and Fuji factories in accordance with Supply Contracts that are in place with the customers.

  • Creating/amending Intercompany Orders and Works orders.

  • Ordering/Calling off resources from External Suppliers for Film and Cylinders.

  • Long Term Planning.

  • Continuous improvement projects in collaboration with COR, PM, Technical and factories.

  • Follow market trends and initiate actions on this / propose projects / action towards management.

  • Analyze order trend, outstanding and forecast to enable foresight for bottlenecks in production and provide capacity forecast to the factory and manager if outsourcing is needed.

  • Propose changes in order allocation (print and engraving) to meet factory targets and customer requirements.

Job requirements

To qualify for the position you must meet the following requirement: 

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent level obtained by work experience.

  • Couple of year’s relevant working experience in an industrial production environment.

  • Skilled on IT environment (ERP systems, Production Planning System, MS Office - especially Excel, Outlook). Analytical and conceptual skills to keep the overview and set priorities.

  • Highly organized, accurate, analytical, methodological, patient and persistent in a high pressure environment.

  • Good negotiation and decision making skills by elaborating and sharing objective pros & cons.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills in English and preferable Dutch.

  • Willingness to travel.
