In this role you play a central part in the installation process of new machines. Focus will be the coordination of the installation of the machine, including the takeover (site acceptance test - SAT) at customer location. 

The function is a mix of coordinating and technical skills. The goal will be to complete the SAT with good quality, within budget and timing and with a happy customer as the end result. You will work as a mediator between customer and internal organization, and will communicate often with internal as well as external customers.

The installation coordinator will report to the Manager Customer Service. You will work closely together with internal departments such as Sales Engineering, Operations, Engineering, TSC and Customer Service. The projects will be primary in Europe. You will need to manage the projects from Deurne as well as at the customer’s location. The frequency of travel will be a couple of days per month.

You are responsible for:

  • Monitor running projects based on Quality, Timings, Cost (Budget/Actual)
  • Daily contact with customer and Service Engineers about expectations, next step and planning
  • Preparation of the project and service visits.
  • Keep close contact with internal departments as: Sales Engineering, Operations, Engineering, TSC and Customer Service.
  • Reporting on a frequently base to the internal organization regarding progress, planning and costs.

Job requirements:
Higher professional education (HBO), preferable mechanical / mechatronics or electrical

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Work experience in an international organization is a plus.
  • Project management skills.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and ERP system, knowledge of Microsoft AX is a plus.
  • Speaks English and Dutch (German, French or Spanish is a plus).
  • Willing and able to travel.
